Freitag habe ich einen 2. Nunofilzversuch gemacht. Ich hatte 3 Seidenbänder und wollte ich aneinander Filzen mit willstreifen. Nach mehrere Stunden reiben und rollen war noch Nichts geschehen.
Heute habe ich es nochmals versucht. Andere Seife, mehr und wärmeres Wasser, Aber nach 1,5 Stunden Arbeit war die Wolle vorgefilzt aber hatte sich nicht mit der Seide verbunden. Seufz! Ich habe den Verdacht dass die Seiden Bänder nicht 100% Seide sind. Ich hab sie second hand gekauft im internet...
Morgen wird ich nochmal was versuchen mit einem anderen Seidentuch.
Töchterchen geht morgen wieder in den Kindergarten. Sohnemans noch nicht, der ist noch zu krank.
I had the same problem. the trick is not to use too much wool, make sure that the silk is not too thick or it will not shrink which means that even if the wool migrates through the silk, it will pull ack out when the wool shrinks but the felt does not follow. Make sure the water is not boiling or too hot, or the wool will just felt to itself and not migrate through the silk and finally, use minimal amount of water.
AntwortenLöschenOne trick that i picked up in a hat making book was that if you put slithers of soap into a owl of boiling water, and then whisk until the soap dissolves, you get a very soapy frothy mixture that is perfect for the job, you can add cold water to get the temperature right.
